How to enable the Windows XP Arabic support?
You must be logged on to windows as an administrator or a member
of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your
computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent
you from completing this procedure.

Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.

On the Languages tab, under Supplemental language support, select
the Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages
check box. |

Click OK or Apply (The system
may either prompt for a Windows XP CD-ROM or access the system files across
the network). |

After the files are installed, you must restart your computer.

Start, click Control Panel, click Date, Time, Language, and Regional
Options, and then click Regional and Language Options.

To remove the complex script and right-to-left
language files, clear the check box, and then click OK or Apply.

tab, click to select the check box next to the Arabic language
group, and then click Apply. The system will either prompt
for a Windows 2000 CD-ROM or access the system files across the
network. Once the language is installed, Windows 2000 will prompt
you to restart the computer. |

System Requirements
The system requirements for Alfurqan version 1.0 are:
- IntelŪ PentiumŪ III processor (or Compatible Processor)
or better, 500 MHz.
- Operating system: Windows 2000, or XP with complex
language support (Arabic support) enabled.
- 128MB RAM minimum; 256MB RAM or more recommended.
- A hard disk with at least 350 MB of free space (plus
550MB at setup time).
- A video card that supports 16-bit color at 800x600
monitor resolution or higher (1152 x 864 resolution or higher
is recommended).
