Hafsah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to use his right hand for eating, drinking and wearing his clothes and used to use his left hand for other purposes.[Abu Dawud].

وعن حَفْصَةَ رضي اللَّه عنها أَنَّ رسول اللَّه صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم كان يَجْعَلُ يَمينَهُ لطَعَامِهِ وَشَرَابِهِ وثيابه ويَجَعلُ يَسارَهُ لما سِوى ذلكَ رواه أبو داود والترمذي وغيره .
